People laughed when said the movie will be a hit Jagapati Babu
Speaking to the press, hero Jagapatibabu said the movie is generating a graceful lucre. Surprisingly, it has evoked a good response from family audience. In the beginning, we thought as it was a complete horror film blended with sentiment, it has lured and attained rave reviews amongst the family audience too. When I first watched the movie I said that it will be a sure hit, but now it has been made into a super hit. As a matter of fact, some people laughed when said that 'Raksha' will be a super hit. Vamshi has made it false and won with flying colors.
Jagapati Babu was unsure of doing such a script Vamsikrishna Akella
Floating on the victory cloud director Vamsikrishna Akella said, I approached RGV through Subbaraju to do the script work. After the script work for 'Phoonk' is completed, I was asked to direct the same subject in Telugu. Hero Jagapatibabu was impressed with the story when I narrated it to him. But he was unsure of committing himself in such a not so usual subject. Later, he accepted to work for the film on the pretext that, the two sequences which are supposed to create uneasiness to the child should be eliminated. Thus, the story hit the floors. I convey my sincere thanks to all the audience who made it a success.
Kalyani, Baby Neha, Executive producer Subbahraju, Rajeev Kanakala, Chandrasekhar, Master Atulith and others were present on the occasion.
